Engaging with mandalas has been linked to relaxation, mindfulness, and stress reduction. Colouring, in particular mandalas, promotes well-being at all ages. For children, it is an activity that improves hand-eye coordination, trains the mind to recognise shapes, develops creativity, stimulates the sense of patience and attention, and helps the development of focus.
Children are invited to a shared activity to contribute to making a large and vibrant mandala at any time during the Kayan Festival.
This free-flowing workshop not only allows for unlimited artistic expression but also provides a unique wellness experience. As participants contribute to the evolving mandala, they are not only creating art but also experiencing a meditative process and a sense of accomplishment.
